I'm not sure if "up to date" means the 4.6.2 Release version of ports, = or the current = ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/branches/-current//ports.tar.gz = version. I've used the latter to build gdbm-1.8.0 on a 4.6RELEASE box without = problem. =20 The ports in the 4.6.2 release kit appears a little old, for example: I = checked one port that I need for work, Nessus, and the 4.6.2 RELEASE = ports version contained version 1.0.9, whereas the version in CURRENT = ports is 1.2.4. This is just one kit and may not be representative, but = it was a key one. Dewayne To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
