I installed the xf86-video-ati > driver and I have an ati radeon HD 5770. The correct driver for recent ATI cards is xf86-video-radeonhd. And try the WITHOUT_NOUVEAU knob as David suggests. ports or x11 are better lists for this - current is for things in the base system. -- Rob Farmer
