Dear Sir/Madam, PROBLEM: I am using a hosted server FreeBSD 2.1.7.1. As it is a hosted service, I do not have rights in /etc/sysconfig. However, the latter a need to reconfigure in order to activate a IBCS emulator (ibcs2="YES") because I want to run a database called CDS/ISIS. However, as I said before the system administrator does not give me any rights there. QUESTION: I am not a FreeBSD expert at all but is it possible to alternatively install the IBCS emulator in for example /usr/home/mydomain/ibcs and activate it with a setting my .login file? PLEASE HELP ME OUT!
