Dear Sir or Madame,

I am a student at Cal-State University at Northridge and for a research
purpose I would like to know about the memory management of FreeBSD
operating system.
I would appreciate your help to point me to the right direction where I
could find any information about the memory management of this operating
system.

Some general questions that may describe my interest are:
-What is the overall scheme of the memory management of Free BSD?
-How does the paging and segmentation work in Free BSD?
-What is the structure of the virtual memory and address translation (maybe
a map or a schematic) of Free BSD?
-What is the page replacement algorithm used in Free BSD?
-Any special feature of the memory management in Free BSD?

I thank you in advance and will be waiting for your reply.

Sincerely,

Esfandiar Behrouz
