Greetings FreeBSD gurus - I am brand new to the OS. I test NIC drivers for Intel products and we are turning towards an emphasized support for FreeBSD. One of my test boxes produces the following error on bootup: "panic: swap_pager_swap_init: swap_zone == NULL" A quick Google search suggests that this is an issue of the kernel failing to deal with an abundance of RAM. The test box in question has 8GB of RAM. Pulling RAM out as a 'workaround' is not an option, as I am to test on these specifically configured OEM machines. This one is a Dell 6400 quad Zeon 550. Suggestions? Patches? Anything? Please reply via direct email. Much gratitude - -=C. Stephen Frost=- Intel Corp.
