I have just installed some new software but when I attempt to run it, the file is not found. As I recall, there is something that reads the "paths" (is this the correct term?) when the system is started. So short of rebooting (I'm trying to get away from M$ practices) how can I get my system to re-read the "paths" and find my new software? Thanks! Drew P.S. I've tried the archives but they are apparently down at the moment. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
