I have downloaded and installed kermit, typed in the configuration as listed in "18.3.3". When I try to run pppd with no setting options, I get this: 192# pppd ~ÿ}#À!}!}!} }.}%}&}2z¢;}'}"}(}" C~~ÿ}#À!}!}!} }.}%}&}2z¢;}'}"}(}" C~~ÿ}#À!}!}!} }.}%}&}2z¢;}'}"}(}" C~~ÿ}#À!}!}!} }.}%}&}2z¢;}'}"}(}" C~~ÿ}#À!}!}!} }.}%}&}2z¢;}'}"}(}" C~~ÿ}#À!}!}!} }.}%}&}2z¢;}'}"}(}" C~~ÿ}#À!}!}!} }.}%}&}2z¢;}'}"}(}" C~~ÿ}#À!}!}!} }.}%}&}2z¢;}'}"}(}" C~~ÿ}#À!}!}!} }.}%}&}2z¢;}'}"}(}" C~~ÿ}#À!}!}!} }.}%}&}2z¢;}'}"}(}" C~ When I try to run pppd with terminal options, they are somehow improper. I do not know where to set the device for listening (I want to use a v.92/56k modem), in kermit.dial, I know I am supposed to change the username and password, but I do not understand how it is to be done.
