Hello, i have just compiled the kernel for supporting the sound card. After a reboot and a dmesg i get the following message: pcm0: <Creative CT5880-C> at device 13.0 on pci0 pcm0: unable to map register space device_probe_and_attach: pcm0 attach returned 6 I run: cd /dev sh MAKEDEV snd0 The script runs without any message at the end and my sound card did not make any noises. Does somebody know what went wrong in my case? Thank's in advance Michael To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
