Hi, =20 I have been running various flavors of FreeBSD for a few years now with the Adaptec 2200s raid controller. When the controller is busy I often see "aac0: Error 5 sending VMIoctl command" on the console during boot, but lately it started happening even when the controller is idle. =20 The systems in question are Supermicro w/dual 3.6GHz processors, a single 36GB for boot and six 18GB disks in a stripe. =20 Here is the dmesg noise from boot: =20 Copyright (c) 1992-2004 The FreeBSD Project.
