Now that 10.3 has settled down and will be official released any day, I decided to try building releng/10.3 on my Xserve G5. Everything builds smoothly but when I reboot on the 10.3 kernel I get this console message: WARNING: Current temperature (PCI SLOTS: 90.5 C) exceeds critical temperature (60.0 C); count=4 Once it gets mad enough the system reboots and starts over. If I boot it up with my 10.2 kernel.old, everything is fine. Something seems off with the hardware monitoring in 10.3. Is there a knob I can tweak to fix it or is it a real bug? Thanks, Bill S.
