Mitigate possibilities of memory corruption ? At the very least, allow
the following:
{
char tmp[sizeof "255.255.255.255"];
KASSERT(size >= (sizeof tmp));
[...]
}
to be enforced... but hey, who gives a damn about consistently doing
things and enforcing code assumptions ? ;-)
