If you read GPL carefully it says you can charge for support *ONLY* which
specifically forbids selling shrink wrapped (or custom) software.   You can
of course ask for "optional donations" but are just that *OPTIONAL*.   GPL
specifically forbids any business model that is shrink wrapped software (or
custom).
