Dear kind folks, I have successfully installed FreeBSD 12.2-RELEASE on one of my machines, I get this error message. I had not seen this before xauth: file /home/olivares/.serverauth.47583 does not exist /usr/local/bin/X: Only console users are allowed to run the X server xinit: giving up xinit: unable to connect to X server: Connection refused xinit: server error olivares@eightcore:~ $ I have created a file /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config and added allowed_users = anybody in that file Xwrapper.config. I have install xfce4 and when I launch xfce terminal or xterm, I get the same message. I can still do stuff from the shell but why do I get this message? I will be back next Monday 11/30 to this machine. So I will not be able to try the suggestions till that time. I also have not gotten java web start to work and it had worked great for me several years. Best Regards, Antonio
