It's broken on -current (which is why it isn't in GENERIC) due to DTS changes in Linux (there's a lot of churn there, and we need someone that can help us keep up as we import new DTS from Linux). armv7 will be in 15, so if you get it working, and plan on sticking around to keep it working, we should get that into main.
