Poudriere is a package building system, and the packages may be used on this host, or as a repository for other hosts... so what is installed on the current host is irrelevant. That said, if you are only using one host, then the following will work great. pkg query %o > /usr/local/etc/poudriere-list poudriere -v bulk -j 11amd64 -f /usr/local/etc/poudriere-list Note that I don’t store it in /tmp/ as you will want to keep the file around for next build. Each time you want a new package, add it to the file first, and rebuild. Note the first time poudriere will build all packages, regardless of whether they are up to date on the host already. In poudriere’s package repo, they don’t exist yet. The second time and after, poudriere will only build the ports which are out-dated or who’s dependencies were updated.
