Perhaps I mis-understood what "out of tree" meant. pefs.ko is the only = kernel module I compiled myself, but from the sysutils/pefs-kmod ports = tree package. I had re-compiled that after upgrading to 9.2. ipl.ko is the IP Filter kernel module. That is loaded via = ipfilter_load=3D"YES" in my /boot/loader.conf.
