This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0008_01BFBDAA.A2FF6600 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit First of all, apologies if this post is to the wrong place... I've been trying to get the OpenSSH-2.1.0 port to compile. I first tried under 4.0-RELEASE, then synced to 4.0-STABLE (last night) and continued with the same problems... The error I'm getting it this, referring to OpenSSL: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- cc -O -pipe -I/usr/ports/security/openssh/work/ssh/ssh/.. -I/usr/include -DI NET6 -I/usr/ports/security/openssh/work/ssh/ssh/.. -I/usr/local/usr/includ e -I/usr/ports/security/openssh/work/ssh/ssh/.. -o ssh ssh.o log-client.o readconf.o clientloop.o sshconnect.o sshconnect1.o shconnect2.o -L/usr/ports/security/openssh/work/ssh/ssh/../lib -lssh -lutil -lz -L/usr/lib -lcrypto ssh.o: In function `main': ssh.o(.text+0xa83): undefined reference to `OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms' *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/security/openssh/work/ssh/ssh. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/security/openssh/work/ssh. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/security/openssh. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/security/openssh. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/security/openssh. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've tried to install the newer OpenSSL port (and removed the FORBIDDEN directive to allow me to do so) but to no avail - exactly the same result... If this a problem with the port, I'd be grateful to know, and if it's just something I'm doing wrong, I would be most appreciative of any assistance that anyone could give me to fix the problem... Many thanks, Robin B. ------=_NextPart_000_0008_01BFBDAA.A2FF6600 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.00.3103.1000" name=3DGENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2><SPAN class=3D796543612-14052000>First = of all,=20 apologies if this post is to the wrong place...</SPAN></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2><SPAN=20 class=3D796543612-14052000></SPAN></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2><SPAN class=3D796543612-14052000>I've = been trying to=20 get the OpenSSH-2.1.0 port to compile.
