Don't get V.3 of DNS and BIND as it is out of date.. get V.4. It includes BIND V.9 information. ;) Eric -----Original Message----- From: Cliff Sarginson [mailto:csfbsd@raggedclown.net] Sent: Thursday, March 14, 2002 3:46 PM To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: Re: Named help On Thu, Mar 14, 2002 at 03:33:26PM -0600, Richard Wenninger wrote: > > > Doesn't the FreeBSD Handbook have a nice chapter on setting up a name > > server? If you get seriously interested the classic book is the O'Reilly book, "DNS and BIND", but that maybe information overload for a basic setup. (Interesting book though). Make sure you get the 3rd Edition if you buy it. Mmm, although there is version 9 now, humph. I don't know how much things have changed since 8. -- Regards Cliff Sarginson -- <csfbsd@raggedclown.net> To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
