Hello- I am using putty to access my freebsd machine from windows. It almost works the way I want it too, but there are a few problems. when i am not using 'screen' on freebsd I can see my buffer that was created with previous command results. when i am using 'screen' none of the history buffer is saved. i can't scroll up and see the results of previous commands. I have my buffer set to 4000 lines. Another problem I have is when i login into another machine I have to type resize inorder to get putty to use the entire screen. terminal program: putty shell: tcsh term settings: vt100 any suggestions? thanks, brian To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
