The update seemed to go fine, but it deleted the ports info in /usr. No biggie since i can go into /stand/sysinstall and put 3.3-STABLE in the Options to get the latest stuff. Is there anything that needs to be done to update the kernel(such as a reboot or make)? How can I know what is the last update i have? Will it show up in uname -a? also how can I update to 3.4. do I just change the tag to tag=RELENG_3_4_0_RELEASE? Thanx so much for your help Mike Morgan Internal/External Support Engineer Home Financial Network 1337 East 750 North Orem, UT 84097 (801) 234-5740 mikemorgan@homenetwork.com ------_=_NextPart_001_01BF4B24.97F79CDA Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

<META HTTP-EQUIV=3D"Content-Type" CONTENT=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META NAME=3D"Generator" CONTENT=3D"MS Exchange Server version = 5.5.2448.0">
cvsup

I have my CVSup file setup up like so:

*default tag=3DRELENG_3
*default host=3Dcvsup7.FreeBSD.org
*default prefix=3D/usr
*default base=3D/usr/local/etc/cvsup
*default delete use-rel-suffix compress

src-all
cvs-crypto
ports-all

Does this look right?
