well when playing around trying to troubleshoot some ipv6 issues i came across something i think you guys might want to take a look at when i issue the command ifconfig stf0 inet 66.69.16.11 alias everything crashes and forces reboot my uname -a is this FreeBSD clide.vulnerable.org 4.7-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE #0: Fri Oct 11 04:17:25 CDT 2002 root@clide.vulnerable.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/CLIDE i386 i'm not sure if you are all aware of something like this happening but it gives me a trap code and such, here is a small part of the printout it gives when this error happens fault virtual address = 0x0 fault code = supervisor write, page not present intstructor pointer = 0x8 :0xc020c428 trap number = 12 it always shows the pid and command that caused it as well, hope this helps you guys out some, email me back if you need any additional information i tested to make sure it would repeat and it happened about 2 or 3 times without fail Luke Mazza _________________________________________________________________ Unlimited Internet access -- and 2 months free!
