Hello everyone, I am using FreeBSD 4.6 and have a problem with the log files increasing rapidly! The directory /var/log has a bunch of log files in, like: messages.0 messages.1 messages.2 cron.0.gz maillog.5.gz messages.5.gz xferlog ... As these files get bigger and the numbers increase, the var partition gets full and as a result some applications stop responding. Is there a way to automatically remove these old log files?
