There use to be an article on http://www.freebsdzine.org about this card and some extra GL config steps needed. The down is on hold right now, so try e-mailing the editor at the page for the article. -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Brandon Fosdick Sent: Thursday, September 09, 1999 8:04 PM To: questions@freebsd.org Subject: X problems I just put a Viper V770 Ultra (TNT2) in my machine (PIII-600) and upgraded XFree to 3.3.5. The card was listed in the database and everything installed fine. X starts fine, however it doesn't seem to work quite right. Menus only show up as an outline, the items don't appear unless the mouse is over them. When running enlightenment icons, etc. show up as black "shadows" of the item. This effect isn't dependent on screen resolution or color depth. I don't know what else to check. Anybody else had this problem?
