I'm now convinced that Linksys has changed the chipset/firmware on the WMP11. I installed the card on a Win2000 box and installed the Intersil utilities and the Linksys 1.4.9 firmware. I tried to flash the older 1.4.9 firmware without success. The Intersil utilities do not recognize the card as a Prism. I'll order the Netgear MA311 which is around $55 after the mail-in rebate.
