Hi all, From a bit of googling, I can tell that I am not the first one to ask this question, but I have not found the answer either. Basically, the log on chimera, my freebsd box, has this: chimera natd[226]: failed to write packet back (Permission denied) followed by last message repeated x times for x = 100 to 200. Whenever I am on the console, the "last message repeated" message is very prevalent. I can not see any rhyme or reason to it. The BSD box (chimera) is between a DSL modem and a win2k server and a win2k / freebsd laptop. Chimera has two nic's, one public, one private, private one goes directly to a switch, from the switch to the windows boxes. The setups pretty standard, samba and apache run on chimera. **everything is working a-ok, except for the natd message** If its not broke, break it, then fix it is my motto I guess.
