I am trying to install FreeBSD 2.2.7 on a Compaq 5120 with an internal integrated network card, but I do not know how to make the system detect and use it....I could see from the RELNOTES.TXT that FreeBSD should support: Compaq Netelligent 10, 10/100, 10/100 Proliant, 10/100 Dual-Port Compaq Netelligent 10/100 TX Embedded UTP, 10 T PCI UTP/Coax, 10/100 TX UTP Compaq NetFlex 3P, 3P Integrated, 3P w/ BNC I presume one of these is the integrated ethernet card on the 5120. Can You please give me some hints on where to get more info? ------------------------------------------------------------------- Our ultimate goal is to make overloaded machines appear to be idle. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Rune Mossige, Systems Support, Western Geophysical, Stavanger, Norway Tel: (+47)51598922 Fax:(+47)51598999 Priv:(+47)51424771 Mobile:(+47)90871024 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
