While on the subject of programming environments for FreeBSD: I'm a "hello world" level programmer myself, and I've found xemacs to be instrumental in programming because of the context-sensitive coloring feature. I have two questions: Do salty programmers use this feature, or veiw it as "training wheels" for beginning programers? Do vi, emacs, others have similar features? Kenneth J.
