hello to all.
this is the problem (i reckon):
my scsi harddisc on scsi0:A:0:0 is not recognized correctly. if i
understand the boot messages correctly, there's a failure in negotiating
the correct settings for the disc. i tried most of the bootparameters
mentioned for the aic7xxx with the more obvious values, but it didn't
help. the system seems stable enough, except that my syslog gets flooded
with "scsi0:A:0:0: Attempt to issue message failed". i googled and
searched the aic7xxx list, but couldn't find a discussion of this or
similar problem.
i hope someone can tell me what's going on and hopefully point me to a
solution.
