I just changed the default securelevel to 0 in the file /usr/src/sys/kern/kern_mib.c, and init correctly raised the securelevel to 1 when it entered multiuser mode, but I got the following error when X tries to run (from xdm at least): > Fatal server error: > xf86OpenConsole: KDENABIO failed (Operation not permitted) Everything runs fine from securelevel -1. -- David
