Hi I'm setting up an AWE64 on 4.1-STABLE. Long ago, I used the following to get the card to be detected: controller pnp0 controller snd0 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ these 2 have been deprecated. I'm using: device pcm0 instead. device sb0 at isa? port 0x220 irq 5 drq 1 vector sbintr device sbxvi0 at isa? drq 5 device sbmidi0 at isa? port 0x330 device awe0 at isa? port 0x620 device opl0 at isa? port 0x388 from what I can tell, either these don't exist anymore, or I need to do this: pnp 1 0 os enable port0 0x220 irq0 5 drq0 1 drq1 5 port1 0x330 port2 0x388 pnp 1 1 os enable port0 0x201 pnp 1 2 os enable port0 0x620 port1 0xa20 port2 0xe20 in my /boot/kernel.conf. I've done this. This is what I have in my kernel: #AWE64 device pcm0 device sbc0 #device sb0 at isa? port 0x220 irq 5 drq 1r device sbxvi0 at isa? drq 5 device sbmidi0 at isa? port 0x330 device mpu0 at isa? port 0x330 irq 6 drq 0 Any ideas/suggestions?
