Mine worked right off the bat. Try to avoid changing the settings before turning on transmit. It does slow down the psystem but you can eventually get it changed. Also, I found that 4 bit mode didn't quite work properly. > I though it maybe could have something to do with mrouted. You need to determine if you: a) Have a multicast-supported adapter. run `ifconfig ed0' replacing ed0 with your network interface. You should see the MULTICAST flag. b) See if your network requires the use of mbone. Some have been set up with ``native'' multicast which works without any additional modification. I think it even uses the kernel interface.
