Yup. :-)  Software eject lock is fun.  I've had times, though, that my
Plextor forgets that it's been told to lock the CD and lets me eject it
anyway.  He might have one of these.  

Or he's used to using the Emergency Disk Ejector aka paper clip in the
little hole :-)
