I just discovered that I can happily malloc 512M without any problem, even ps is sure that I've managed this, but seeing as I've only got about 150M total virtual memory available I'm a bit surprised. Should I be ? I'm running: FreeBSD dylan.visint.co.uk 3.0-971202-SNAP FreeBSD 3.0-971202-SNAP #0: Wed Dec 3 17:45:54 GMT 1997 steve@quit.visint.co.uk:/usr/src/sys/compile/QUIT i386 I wondered if there was any changes from about this time that might let me do that ? Thanks in advance. Steve -- Steve Roome - Vision Interactive Ltd. Tel:+44(0)117 9730597 Home:+44(0)976 241342 WWW: http://dylan.visint.co.uk/
