I've just installed 2.2.5 on a blank box, recompiled a kernel and for some
reason the net card won't come up as ed0, only ed1 or ed2 depending on the
kernel config file.

I've not put any other edXX devices in the kernel, just ed0, like so:

device ed0

or

device ed0 at pci?

Any help greatly appreciated, have included dmesg and config file as
attachments, other than these I've installed zsh and colorls on this box,
so it's pretty standard and I've not messed with anything.
