The patch, when manually applied, doesn't compile due to:

*** Error code 1
In 2.2-STABLE, in sys/buf.h:
struct {
caddr_t b_addr; /* Memory, superblocks, indirect etc. */
} b_un;
But there doesn't appear to be an equivalent in 3.0-CURRENT :(
