Hi I've recently purchased a DPT RAID 5 card with the associated hard-disks etc. and installed into a FreeBSD system. I am using Simon Shapiro's excellent drivers for BSD and have got them working without /too/ much trouble (these DPT cards are amazing BTW). BUT.. (and it's a big but).. it appears to have knocked out my Intel Etherexpress 100m/bit network card. It's specified in the kernel configuration (device fxp0), and when the kernel compiles I see it include the drivers but on bootup there are *no* messages at all about the fxp device (doesn't even say if it hasn't found it). Anyone else experienced this problem / have any ideas? Regards, . .--------------------=:=----------------------.
