Hi,

I just CVSuped (well a couple of hours ago) and I checked out RELENG_2_2
hoping to get the latest and greatest.

The Makefile in /usr/src is version 1.109.2.31. If I go into the
repository and have a look at Makefile,v I see the following

symbols
        RELENG_3_0_0_RELEASE:1.220
        RELENG_2_2_7_RELEASE:1.109.2.33
        RELENG_2_2_6_RELEASE:1.109.2.25
        RELENG_2_2_5_RELEASE:1.109.2.19
        RELENG_2_2_2_RELEASE:1.109.2.4
        RELENG_2_2_1_RELEASE:1.109.2.2
        RELENG_2_2_0_RELEASE:1.109.2.2
        RELENG_2_1_7_RELEASE:1.57.4.19
        RELENG_2_1_6_1_RELEASE:1.57.4.19
        RELENG_2_1_6_RELEASE:1.57.4.19
        RELENG_2_2:1.109.0.2

Which, I think, tells me that if I was infact checking out RELENG_2_2, I
should have got the Makefile that is of a later version than 2.2.7
release (or atleast that version). As far as I can tell, checking out
RELENG_2_2 gives me a Makefile from before 2.2.7 was released. This also
makes me wonder if all the source code I've checked out is old.

So, my question is, do I still use the RELENG_2_2 tag to checkout the
stable branch? and if I do, why don't I have the right Makefile checked
out.

Thanks in advance,
Gavin
