this does not happen over a dialup
connection, but when using popclient
to pick up mail over an ethernet connection
to a pop3 server, i get the message

o failed: Can't find shared library "libkrb.so.3.0"

from the client. both are FBSD 2.2.8.
i don't want kerberos and don't have any of it enabled.
my guess is popper was compiled with Kerberos enabled?
i dunno ;)

has this been fixed anywhere?

please reply off the list - thanks ...
