Which is 100% TRUE! When brett installed FreeBSD and booted it up it did
NOT load popper. Popper is not part of the bin distribution or ANY other
part of FreeBSD. It is a 3rd part program not developed by FreeBSD, under
control of FreeBSD, or installed By FreeBSD. It is a 3rd party app
installed BY THE USER. The user even has to install either /ports just to
even HAVE the ability to install popper OR install the package. Either way
its the USERS doing not FreeBSD's.
