I suddenly need java for a school project (I need jdbc). I see the port of 1.1.6, and I'm currently installing it, but the 3 other members of my project are all going to be using 1.1.7. Will I notice much difference? Is there any real chance that 1.1.7 might be something that will come soon? Is there anything I need to install beyond lang/jdk to make it work here on FreeBSD? Thanks. ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- Chuck Robey | Interests include any kind of voice or data chuckr@glue.umd.edu | communications topic, C programming, and Unix. 213 Lakeside Drive Apt T-1 | Greenbelt, MD 20770 | I run Journey2 and picnic (FreeBSD-current) (301) 220-2114 | and jaunt (NetBSD). ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
