Hi all, Did anybody manage to run the Domino preview release for Linux on FreeBSD? I'm still struggling (and may very well have been doing silly things). - FreeBSD 3.2-STABLE from Aug 26 - Compiled Linux emulation options into kernel - linux_enable="YES" in rc.conf - did a 'make all install' in /usr/ports/emulators/linux_base - patched a few install scripts to make them accept "FreeBSD" as the output of uname and to make them think it's Linux - worked around a problem (don't know the exact cause) that made the install script think my terminal size was 0x0. - installed Domino 5011 sneak preview for Linux in /usr/local - just to be sure added /opt as a link to /usr/local - bumped into library version trouble (this part of Linux emulation is excellent!) - figured I needed to download the following RPMs from redhat6: glibc-2.1.1-6.i386.rpm compat-binutils-5.2-2.9.1.0.23.1.i386.rpm compat-egcs-5.2-1.0.3a.1.i386.rpm compat-egcs-c++-5.2-1.0.3a.1.i386.rpm compat-glibc-5.2-2.0.7.1.i386.rpm compat-libs-5.2-1.i386.rpm - did 'chroot /compat/linux rpm -U --ignoreos ' on the first one - did 'chroot /compat/linux rpm -i --ignoreos ' on the rest And now, when trying to start the server: server: line 284: 22366 Bad system call (core dumped) ${ToRun} $@ Has anyone been here before? Where to look next? regards, -- Bart To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
