Greetings- I've installed an SBLive! in a 200 MHz Pentium running 4.0-current as of around early March. Following your instructions to the letter mpg123 runs fine but when I try to start liveice, the real time mp3 streamer, it returns: Warning: LAME3.x doesn't use GPsycho for low sample rates localhost somepassword liveice LiveIce Radio Live http://www.icecast.org 8000 (null) 22050 32000 0 Initialising Soundcard 204:Error: Failed to open sound device cat sndstat returns: FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm) Mar 4 2000 11:22:37 Installed devices: pcm0: <Creative EMU10K1> at io 0xef80 irq 11 (1p/0r channels duplex) Is there a better audio recording application for testing this ? Any problem tracing ideas are very greatly appreciated. -kim -- kimc@kim.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-multimedia" in the body of the message
