You misunderstood. I mean't no changes to the Doc Project.  This, if I
do it, would be for my benefit only. If others are interested, I would
be willing to document the steps. Doing this would be a major pain in
the backside and only of value to those who know and use TeX for other
things, but would also like to explore the Doc Project without
dropping ~85MB onto their disk.

I think I expressed myself poorly im my earlier mail and should have
kept my mouth shut.
