Maybe his stance would change if there were a FreeBSD emulator? I think that the prospects of getting native support for applications WITHOUT the vendors first developing for Linux are bleak, at least right now. I'm not sure whether a FreeBSD emulator for Linux would change that. It may be a good idea whose time isn't right. However, if the resources to develop such a beast are available now, why not?
