Hi,

I just compiled a kernel to include the second processor in my 2xPII
box.  I am curious about the last line included from dmesg below.  Should
I see a similar message for CPU #2?

Also, I've left the kernel config IOAPIC to default to 24.  What does this
paramater do? ... for what reasons would I want to change this and in what
direction?  Neither the LINT nor the Handbook have much to say on this.
