I'm hoping to eliminate my HD partition and re-install FreeBSD from scratch. Now, i know i need to backup /etc and /home, as well as any other changes/config files i have. Here is my question: i have the 3.2 CDrom, and i want to run -stable. I would like to avoid cvsupping from 3.2 if possible. Can i simply archive all of /usr/src and then restore it and buildworld to restore my system to what it is now? Are there any missing links or steps i need to do first to make this work? It would save me a lot of trouble. -=> jm <=- "Do not taunt the Happy Fun Ball." To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
