I honestly don't think you'll find any real surprises.  I've been running
it for more than a month, cvsupping and building about four times since
then without any problems.  Just follow the instructions in
/usr/src/UPDATING towards the end of the file under "COMMON ITEMS".  Use
it like a recipe, you should be fine.
