I am installing 4.73 Netscape getting the following errors: remote.c:36: X11/Xlib.h: No such file or directory remote.c:37: X11/Xatom.h: No such file or directory remote.c:38: X11/Xmu/WinUtil.h: No such file or directory In file included from remote.c:47: vroot.h:60: X11/X.h: No such file or directory vroot.h:61: X11/Xatom.h: No such file or directory vroot.h:62: X11/Xlib.h: No such file or directory In file included from remote.c:47: vroot.h:65: syntax error before `VirtualRootWindowOfScreen' vroot.h:66: syntax error before `Screen' The cause is straight forward: /usr/X11R6/include/X11 does not contain the header files. I did a CD install and installed XFree86. I used the "standard" install option. I would guess I left a source distribution out, but I can not figure out which one. X-windows and KDE installed and are running okay. Any pointers as to what I left out and how to include it would be greatly appreciated. _____ Douglas Denault doug@safeport.com Voice: 301-469-8766 Fax: 301-469-0601 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
