Think I forward this: ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Fri, 19 Apr 2002 12:17:43 -0700 From: noreply@sourceforge.net To: noreply@sourceforge.net Subject: [mpeg4ip - Open Discussion] RE: mp4live with FreeBSD 4.5 Read and respond to this message at: http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=1544500 By: cahighlander Should be feasible. The only code that will need work for a Linux to BSD port is that which deals directly with the video capture driver and the sound card driver. On Linux the interfaces are V4L and OSS. mp4live uses about 10 of the V4L ioctls and 5 of the OSS ioctls. I don't know anything about what is available for FreeBSD in terms of multimedia drivers/APIs. If you have some info, I could scan it and give you more details on how to modify the existing code. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
