no, and he stuck it to me afterwards.. I really should have.. I was just too preoccupied with the KSE commit which was suddenly held up on this new code using "don't use me" fields. the choices were. commit KSE and geom breaks commit KSE and fix geom to not use a field that is no longer there. contact phk and wait while he fixes geom and in the meanwhile twiddle thumbs while I have to re-run all thebuildworld tests and re-integrate all new changes in -current to KSE. I COULD have commited it as part of the KSE commit. that would have covered me as I had a mandate to do that and teh patched have been sitting around for 'ever' for him to look at. bit it was a last minute 'surprise' code change from him that used teh very field that the whole KSE-III commit is written to remove.. basically he said Find the thread from it's offset within the proc. in M-III the thread is no longer in the proc. hem On Sun, 30 Jun 2002, Greg 'groggy' Lehey wrote: > On Saturday, 29 June 2002 at 0:47:21 -0700, Julian Elischer wrote: > > julian 2002/06/29 00:47:21 PDT > > > > Modified files: > > sys/geom geom_kern.c > > Log: > > Don't use the static thread.. it is going away. > > Was this discussed with phk? > > Greg > -- > See complete headers for address and phone numbers > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
